WORKSHOP8 is a multidisciplinary design practice based in Boulder, Colorado. Founded in 2010 by five experienced partners (Joseph Vigil, Ulla Lange, Brandy LeMae, jv DeSousa and Ali Gidfar). W8 is driven by the idea that design should engage the community and the end users in a visionary, bold and elegant manner.
W8 specializes in multifamily (affordable and market rate), civic, commercial (retail, restaurant and workplace), residential (custom, remodel and spec), green/sustainable, graphic, and public art/placemaking projects.
W8’s experienced team is dedicated to providing architecture, planning and design services that are beautiful, sustainable and energy-efficient. Within the constraints of each project, W8 strives to achieve the best possible solution by using formal training and practical experience to create new and innovative solutions. W8 challenges the team to produce projects of the highest quality and finds great pleasure in solving problems through good design.
