As part of the entertainment for the night, I was asked to make people smile with a humorous presentation about mid-mod life. Using good old Google to do 21st century research about mid 20th century life, I stumbled across an article about a very interesting body of “research” by Dr. George Crane III. The article makes fun of the 100 point rating scale for husbands and wives, but looking through it, I realized that I am a BAD wife and Joseph  is a GOOD husband, so I decided to make a public declaration. For your critical review, here is my presentation:

Well, I don’t use “dope,” or smoke, or gamble, but, hey, let’s go out for a drink (did I already suggest that?).

I prefer breakfast to be prepared FOR me rather than BY me. I mean, I have to sleep in after all that drinking and flirting.

This is exactly what happens at my house. I put on an apron and cook delicious foods, and Joseph reads to me from the newspaper.

Sometimes I have to remind him, but he does a pretty good job on his own.
