WELCOME, CESAR
Cesar Gellido joined the WORKSHOP8 team in August of 2018 and has since taken the lead as the Job Captain for the renovation of the Olin Hotel Apartments.
BACKGROUND
Cesar came to the U.S. following his childhood in the Philippines, where he was raised by a tight-knit extended family. Being raised in a large family setting, he made a commitment at an early age to create communities wherever he goes — in his local community, at work, and through grassroots efforts. When he isn’t at WORKSHOP8 he is working on his organization called “Saws and Slaws,” or is spending his weekends as a volunteer firefighter.
Mountain Love
Cesar lived in the flatlands of Texas while earning his Bachelors of Architecture degree from Texas Tech University. Upon graduation, he moved to Colorado where he developed a strong bond with nature and the outdoors through archery, hunting, fly fishing, rock climbing, and mountain biking. He recently checked off of his bucket a week-long backpacking expedition with pack goats!
Homestead Haven
On his property, Cesar practices gardening, bee-keeping, raising chickens, and working around the house.
Professional Joy
Cesar enjoys working with his hands and the craft of architecture and construction. In the past has worked on building custom homes. The satisfaction of creating beautiful homes for others gives him the drive to work through the design process.
Oh, Demi!
We can’t forget to recognize his beautiful pup, Demi!
Welcome to the WORKSHOP8 Team!
Cesar — we are thrilled to have you, and value your accomplishments thus far.
Thanks for reading!
