28 FEB 19 | THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO

We Appreciate You.

WORKSHOP8 loves working with mission-driven clients.
We do good work for those who do good.

Many of our clients are Housing Authorities and Non-Profit Developers who advocate for and provide affordable housing and programs to individuals living below the median income, seniors, and veterans. They often collaborate with HUDthe United States Dept. of Housing and Urban Development — to design sustainable, functional, and viable living communities.

Affordable housing is a hot topic in the Front Range and will continue to be so as the population rises. We want to showcase how hardworking, caring and compassionate our clients are.

The Denver Housing Authority

MISSION “…to serve the residents of Denver by developing, owning, and operating safe, decent and affordable housing in a manner that promotes thriving communities.”

DHA just celebrated their 80th anniversary this past Spring. Brandy, Joseph, Ivan, and Marcel attended this heartfelt and inspiring event and WORKSHOP8 made a donation on behalf of our studio.

“Much of WORKSHOP8’s success is due to the trust the Denver Housing Authority puts in us. We cannot create great architecture without great clients and we have been fortunate enough to work on multiple projects for DHA.  Their commitment to sustainability, resident quality of life, and dedication to building quality, well-designed buildings makes them truly great clients. We are extremely fortunate they have selected us to work with them in the pursuit of their mission.”

The Housing Authority of the City of Aurora

It is a pleasure to work with the Aurora Housing Authority because they go to great lengths to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of their tenants. They have shown me the true value of architecture and that we are all capable of enhancing the way people live.”

“The renovating the Olin Apartments is our first project with Senior Housing Options. The passion and care they show for their residents is inspiring. We are excited to work with them to provide an updated, safe, comfortable, and beautiful environment for the residents of the Olin Apartments.”
Chelsea Semelka (that’s me)

“My experience with SHO through the Olin Apartment remodel project has been exceptional. For example, as we walked the site, it was apparent that the staff cares deeply for the residence as evidenced by the manner in which they spoke to them, respected their apartment space, and call each one by name. I’m proud to work with a client who is making such a positive impact for our local Denver community, seniors, and persons with disabilities.”
