Month of Modern is Almost Here!
Fall is, somewhat, in the air and that means that Month of Modern is just around the corner! Throughout the month of September, our neighbors at HMH Architecture + Interiors will be hosting fabulous, industry-specific events throughout downtown Boulder. WORKSHOP8’s very own Ivan Patino and Brandy LeMae will be panel speakers for two of the events. You don’t want to miss what they have prepared for this year’s celebration!

2019 MoM KICK OFF EVENT “FUCKUP NIGHTS”
Fuckup Nights is a global movement sharing stories of professional failure. MoM x FUN is one part storytelling, one part comedy, 100 percent true stories of failure from Boulder professionals. Brandy LeMae will sit beside these other brave individuals to share her #fuckupstory.
MODERN HABITAT OPENING RECEPTION
The Dairy Arts Center will be hosting an exhibit called “Modern Habitat,” where local architects and designers highlight the design process behind building forms through visual arts. The exhibit will be displayed from September 5th through October 13th and is free for admission. Look out for WORKSHOP8’s display titled “Design Chaos.”
ARE MILLENNIALS GOING TO KILL THE SUBURBS?
Join WORKSHOP8’s very own, Ivan Patino, alongside these talented individuals talking the dream of homeownership through the Millennial lens.
MOVIE NIGHT – PLAYTIME
Jacques Tati’s “Playtime,” depicts modernism’s problematic impact on the city and the way in which people interact within it.
PAPACHRISTOU HOME TOUR
For one day only, attendees will be given the rare chance to walk through the interiors of some of the most inspiring private homes in Boulder’s neighborhoods.
2019 MoM WRAP PARTY
Mingle amongsts local designers as they celebrate the region’s most acclaimed names in modern design. Cocktails, food, and music will be provided, and a good time is sure to be had by all.
