A few of my favorite sights from a recent trip:
No trip to San Francisco would be complete without a visit to Golden Gate Park. This was my first time at the Japanese Tea Garden.

Also my first trip to “The Haight”! Terrific store windows, terrific shopping! Loved it.

Because of my position on the Boulder Arts Commission and my former life as a visual artist, I was intrigued by all the murals in SF. As you can see, my daughter enjoyed modeling in front of these.

We are lucky to have friends who let us stay in their super cute shot-gun apartment filled with contemporary art.

And, we were smitten, for Smitten Ice Cream in Hayes Valley. Made to order with liquid nitrogen. Smitten’s small shop is set up in an old shipping container.

I’m not as good of a photographer as Ulla, but I hope you enjoyed these nonetheless. You can see her first round of photographs from Finland in a blog post from 8 September 2012.
