This award-winning apartment building in Longmont, CO, isn't just for moderate-income individuals – it's a champion of energy efficiency! Imagine this: spacious 3-bedroom units, each around 1,300 square feet, with projected heating and cooling costs of only $50 per month during Colorado's chilly winters. Sounds impossible? Not with the magic of structurally insulated panels (SIPs)! These innovative building blocks create a super-sealed envelope that minimizes energy loss. But wait, there's more! High-performance mini-split systems take care of heating and cooling, completely eliminating the need for gas on-site. This three-story beauty (including a garden level) offers a mix of 8 one-bedroom and 12 three-bedroom units, all with convenient, on-site parking and stormwater detention.
