Blue Bird with Triangles and Stripes depicts exactly so – a detailed bluebird with her red bow and a variance of blue triangles and stripes. The mural sits along a homeowner’s fence in North Boulder on 19th and Iris and was completed as part of the Creative Neighborhoods Mural Program hosted by Boulder Arts & Culture.

Pedestrians passing through this main intersecting road in North Boulder soar along with the bird’s eye view. The simple narrative intends to create a sense of freedom and movement. Although a simple concept, by greeting the bird up close you will find an array of intricate and timely details. The triangles, stripes, and bluebird unify at a point where multiple neighborhoods meet.
