StarRise Community Building

A Beacon of Hope in Greeley

StarRise isn’t just a new apartment building in Greeley, Colorado – it’s a beacon of hope for those in need. This 58-unit project offers Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), providing a safe and stable environment for individuals seeking a fresh start. WORKSHOP8 sought to understanding the needs of its residents and designed accordingly. The project incorporates trauma-informed design principles, meaning every detail – from programming to space planning – prioritizes safety, comfort, and empowerment.

StarRise itself draws inspiration from its industrial roots, with a distinct architectural style. An existing 1934 brick building will be uniquely transformed into a vibrant community hub containing a food pantry, fitness area, maker space, kitchen, and open seating – all designed to foster connection and well-being. The existing brick building will be seamlessly integrated into the new structure, creating a cohesive experience.

StarRise at North Weld Village isn’t just housing; it’s a community built on inclusivity, support, and the promise of a brighter future.
