From Worn to Welcoming:
A Community Transformed

Two well-worn, 3-story buildings (each with 34 units) and a utilitarian community space became a canvas for transformation. Working with the existing “stone”, we envisioned a revitalization, not just a renovation. Fun and brightly designed foyers and welcoming entryway porticos set the stage. Unit layouts were thoughtfully modified for ADA compliance with updated fixtures.

A new project brand with logo and signage unified the refreshed interiors and exterior monuments. The existing clubhouse was reimagined for modern functionality. Beyond aesthetics, improved site lighting, parking upgrades, new trash enclosures, and safety modifications prioritized resident well-being. A vibrant playground adds a touch of fun. Demolition revealed unexpected mold, but the team swiftly incorporated remediation and subfloor replacement into the schedule. This dedication to overcoming challenges ensured a healthy and beautiful living space for residents.

WORKSHOP8 provided architecture, interior design, FF&E, branding, signage design, art design and selection, and contract administration in-house. Subconsultants included: civil, landscape, MEP and structural engineering.
