OMAR DE LA MORA

Background

Omar grew up surrounded by people of many different backgrounds, and thanks to this he has learned to embrace diversity. Relocating from L.A. County to southern Mexico, and finally, to central Texas, Omar has been exposed to many different types of communities and interactions. After high school, Omar’s goal was to pursue a more outdoor-oriented lifestyle. To this end, Omar made the big move to Colorado and checked off both his dreams of living in the mountains and studying architecture.

Skiing + Biking = Happy Omar

One of Omar favorite memories is riding bikes with his brother and his dad. This may be why exploring what Colorado has to offer on two wheels is one of his favorite things to do. During the fall and summer months, you can find him biking to work or biking up to Betasso Preserve Trailhead. During the wintertime, you can find him either stuck in traffic on I-70 or skiing up a trailhead.

SYDNEY ANGEL

Virginia Grown

Sydney grew up in a small town called Culpeper, Virginia, where she was surrounded by farms, horses and cows. She went on to attend James Madison University, where she received her Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Architectural Design and a minor in Studio Art.

Art and Design

Sydney’s father is a great artist and has influenced her greatly. She loves painting, film photography, and graphic design. Prior to joining WORKSHOP8, Sydney worked as an architectural designer for basement renovation projects.
