Happy Valentine’s Day!

Every year around this time, our office is buzzing with the excitement of our favorite holiday, Valentine’s Day. And each year we try to outdo the last by sending something creative and full of fun and love out to our friends! This year, we decided to commemorate our office mascot, Toby the Octopus, in our greeting (in case you don’t get the whole octopus thing right away: 8 tentacles, WORKSHOP8; octopi are natural problem-solvers, so are architects…). We feel lucky that we get to be surrounded with creativity every day, so we wanted to spread some of that joy around to some of our favorite people.  This year, we’re sending out a coloring sheet of Toby! (Along with some crayons, there will be chocolate–have no fear.)

According to an article on CNN.com, coloring as an adult has lots of mental health, relaxation, and stress-relieving benefits, similar to meditation. Relaxation and chocolate? Sounds like a dream to us.
