WELCOME TO 2025!
Winter is here, and we’re embracing it with excitement. How are you kicking off your 2025? Our team is back in the studio after celebrating the holidays and ringing in the new year, and we’re reflecting on the 8 arms that keep WORKSHOP8 moving forward:
Wonder, Optimism, Reliability, Kaizen, Sustainability, Harmony, Octopuses, Practicality—these 8 core values guide WORKSHOP8’s design process across planning, architecture, interiors, and graphics.
Keep an eye on our Instagram feed as we explore each of our values!
WORKSHOP8 : PLANNING | ARCHITECTURE | INTERIORS | GRAPHICS
At WORKSHOP8, we’re more than just architects and interior designers! From site and master planning to space planning, graphic and signage design, and even art design—we’ve got you covered. Basically, if it’s about making your project awesome, we’re here for it.
Did you know we designed the project identity for Cheluna Brewing, Overlook at Thornton, and Jacoby Meadows?
WORK
We’ve got three projects under construction!
- StarRise in Greeley: This High Plains Housing development includes a 4-story building and an adaptive reuse community space. Kudos to KCI Construction for keeping the project moving quickly—it should be ready for formerly unhoused residents by autumn.
- Overlook at Thornton: Nine buildings are under rehab, and a brand-new clubhouse with a pool, gym, and community room is underway. Hats off to Palace Construction for their excellent work! Former and new residents will be moving in just in time to enjoy the pool and clubhouse.
- Jacoby Meadows in Windsor: Pinkard Construction is leading the charge on this Loveland Housing Authority development for the Windsor Housing Authority. Seniors will be moving in just in time to celebrate Halloween.

DESIGN
WORKSHOP8 takes a theme-based design approach by developing a “story” that guides the selection of materials, colors, and furnishings.
Our interiors strategy enhances a space’s character through the specification of expressive, thoughtful, and flexible interior pieces. Our recommendations always complement the project’s architecture and branding, ensuring every detail aligns with the overall vision.
FAVORITE CLIENTS
This spotlight goes to Cheluna Brewing Company: Congrats on 8 years (2016–2024)!
Since opening in 2016, Cheluna has become a community favorite for its unique Mexican-inspired brews. For the design of Cheluna Brewing, we incorporated rich, Oaxacan-inspired textures.
Next time you’re in Aurora, be sure to visit Cheluna Brewing at the Stanley Marketplace (where WORKSHOP8 also provided architectural services for this catalytic adaptive reuse project) for a taste of their incredible brews!
