Celebrate Spring 2015 and Colorado Architecture Month with the WORKSHOP8 posse.
Every April, we observe Colorado Architecture Month, a 30-day appreciation of Colorado architecture and design hosted by The American Institute of Architects Colorado chapter (AIA Colorado).
During the month, you can attend a series of public events throughout the state which highlight the importance of architecture in our every day lives and encourages the community to see why design matters.
This month, WORKSHOP8 is participating in two awesome events:

Stanley Marketplace Preview: Hard Hat Tour
A team of Denver locals is turning the former Stanley Aviation building into Stanley Marketplace, a food hall and retail hub that’s also the biggest adaptive re-use project in the state. Visit Stanley for a close look at how a post-war modern manufacturing facility is being transformed into a must-visit food-centric urban marketplace. Hear from the project’s developers, construction company, and architects. Hard hats, vests, snacks and beverages, and a glimpse of the future of community-inspired retail will be provided.
Marcel, Graham and Chelsea will be on hand to answer your questions about WORKSHOP8’s role in the project.

15th Street Design District Studio Crawl
4:00 to 7:00
The 15th Street Design District (15SDD) was established in May 2010 and is Boulder’s premier design district located on 15th Street between Canyon and Arapahoe. 15SDD is the home of architects, interior and kitchen designers, building contractors, and graphic/web designers as well as other design professionals.
Proceeds raised at the event will benefit Attention Homes, which provides opportunities for for at-risk youth to change their lives. Attention Homes offers shelter, community-based living and teaching of life skills necessary for an independent future.
Enjoy live music from The Hop Pickers and The Longest Day of the Year (yes, this is my band, and we play at 5:45!). Grab some food from the Blackbelly and Rollingreens food trucks.
Our friends from Altitude Spirits will be mixing up special WORKSHOP8 cocktails made from their organic spirits. Come visit us at our studio in the Candy Shop Creative Offices and try one our architecture inspired cocktails: The Cantilever, The Change Order, and the One Hour Fire Rated.
