DESIGN AWARD FOR JAMESTOWN VFD
I am going to keep this one nice and short. On October 8th, Shawn told you all about what inspired all of us at this year’s AIA Design Conference, what we forgot to mention was that one of our projects was recognized with a design award!
The Jamestown Volunteer Fire Station won a Citation Award for Commercial Design. Jurors said: “The composition of the side elevation is simple and bold.” and “Good use of utilitarian and durable materials.”
Yeah, that’s how we roll.

Joseph rode in the Fat Tire Flurry to raise funds for recovery in Jamestown after the flooding before WORKSHOP8 designed the JVFS.
