Huzzah! The best day of the year is here again! To celebrate this momentous occasion, we wanted to share with you some things you maybe did not know about WORKSHOP8, as well as bring you up to date with current going-ons at our studio over the past 12 months.
STUFF WE’VE DONE FOR FUN
participated in Tour de Cure • built a chair • completed the Triple Bypass • attended the Stanley Family Dinner • attended the AIA Conference in Keystone where we drank a little too much and flirted with Kai-Uwe Bergmann • participated in a Cyclist 4 Colorado fundraiser to raise money for flood victims in Lyons • visited the Schluter Plant in Montreal • participated in the Month of Modern • celebrated Colorado Architecture Month
STUFF WE’VE DONE FOR MONEY
successfully completed our first public art installation. . . SUMMER IS. . . at DAM • helped Jamestown recover after the flood by designing a brand new fire station for their volunteer fire department • assisted two affordable housing providers win 9% LIHTC funding for their projects: Spring Creek and 3116 Alameda • designed a beautiful office for Juniper Wealth Advisors • did the site planning and conceptual design for flood replacement housing in Lyons — unfortunately, it was not passed by the voters • designed the logo and business cards for Casita Brewing Company
